Toast Box (Hougang Mall)

I felt that kaya jam was quite creamy and thick. It usually need to apply thick jam on the surface of the bread and cover up another bread (butter) after toasting. I don't like really like thick jam on the bread tbh and prefer to apply thin jam on the bread.

Set 4 ($6.10) is one of my favourite, who can pass up porkfloss?? It is even more worth it because we redeemed a $5 Toast Box voucher from grab The coffee was “Gao”, porkfloss generous, toast crispy and eggs runny - I can’t ask for anything more!! (Except for inflation to rise slower??)

Aside from their popular traditional toast, I also love the Otah thick toast from Toastbox, which is similar to a muar otah atop a thick soft white bread. #burpple

My favourite toast is Otah Toast. Only lightly spicey, this good yummy fishy paste nicely complemented the soft soft bread below. Being toasted also helps to bring out the chilli fragrance. One of my favourite indulgent breakfast (:
