What used to be one of my favourite laksas has now become an extremely disappointing offering from Toast Box. I used to like it for it's mee tai mak (chubby and short white noodles π ) and above average freshness, fragrance and spiciness. But it's now all gone..

Always thought S$1.60 for a tiny glop of Tau Sa Piah wasn't worth the price, but finally succumbed and tried the "Yuan Yang" version today - it's sweet, savoury with hints of spicy chicken floss/hae bee hiam. Quite tasty, and perfect with a cuppa Teh! π
