From the Burpple community

the pulled beef was too rich and overwhelming, always getting stuck in the tooth. The salmon portion was generous and the eggs were really runny and good. One problem is that the combination of the large portion of salmon and egg makes the dish too rich and overwhelming. It also made the dish a tad too salty.

Decent brunch fare along Robertson Quay. Tried ‘Brekkie of Champions’ and ‘Toby’s French Toast’. The former dish came with generous ingredients and we were surprised to receive an entire stalk of 7x tomatoes. French toast was soft, tasty and infused with maple syrup. Cafe also offers the option to change ingredients to another option (e.g. bacon to sautéed mushrooms).

Chill ambiance, great place for gathering with friends/ family.

Brekkie Champions
$24.50 | Great variety however brioche toast was too thick and super dry. Maple bacon was a tad too sweet. Love the mushroom and tomato though! Super juicy and generous portion! Nothing too special over the homemade baked beans.

Rodyk Style Eggs Benedict
$21.50 | Poached eggs was not runny at all and definitely overcooked.

Coffee was bad. Real bad. It’s very sour and a pretty small cup considering the price. Do give it a miss if you are not a fan of sour coffee. No idea what’s the hype over their coffee.

It’s not convenient to come here if you’re driving as there’s not much parking around this area except for hotel parking. Honestly, if not for the Burpple 1-1 deal, I wouldn’t consider stepping in at all. Food was mediocre and doesn’t justify the steep price. There are better cafes out there that serves better food and coffee at a cheaper price. Don’t understand the hype over this cafe. Definitely won’t be returning again though the service was great.

Toby's Estate's food is really pretty amazing, with fresh brioche bread and ingredients that make the breakfast pretty wholesome. The Eggs Benedict Brooklyn Style ($21.50) has good stewed beef that is tender and flavourful. The Brekkie of Champions has a good variety of ingredients and all were very well done. Best is probably the tomatoes, as it was super juicy. We tried the coffee here as well, but sadly they really weren't good 😥

Decent brunch fare, though on the pricier side. This Brekkie of Champions is an English Breakfast with toast, baked beans, cherries on the vine, bacon, mushrooms, sausage, and eggs done your way. Quite a feast indeed! Each part of this spread is done beautifully, from the juicy tomatoes to the flavourful mushrooms and non-canned baked beans. My only gripe is that the poached eggs are quite vinegary, probably due to the way they cooked it. Do note that you have to order drinks of you use the Burpple Beyond deal, and their drinks are quite pricey as well ($5-$10).

Decent brunch fare, though on the pricier side. This surf and turf tower has English muffins and scrambled eggs two ways, with smoked salmon and stewed beef, served with a side of salsa and pickles. The stewed beef was delicious with the eggs and but the smoked salmon was a bit bland and drowned in the creaminess of the eggs. Do note that you have to order drinks of you use the Burpple Beyond deal, and their drinks are quite pricey as well ($5-$10).
