But the kakigoris were oh-so-memorable (and more expensive than even our bingsus).
I got their seasonal special, of which until now I couldn't get its name and ingredients. Tasted like cheese sauce, but adequately sweet and just right on the bed of shaved ice. Kinako one was just right too: with a hint of saltiness to it.
Not much ingredients in them, but added together, more than the sum of their parts.
This was pre-made from a convenience store! Japanese are so amazing, although this admittedly looks better than it tasted.
