Went on a sunday morning, had to wait quite awhile (about 30 mins) before i got seated. Got myself a white, vongole pasta and pandan pancakes. The pandan pancake with ice cream was fragrant, soft and the serving was just nice for 1 to finish. Would be back to try the rosti!
This time, we decided to visit Tolido's on a weekday for breakfast and we were glad that there wasn't much of a queue! Would definitely encourage visiting the cafe on a weekday instead to avoid the snaking queue on weekends!
We ordered the rosti with cheesy sausage and the food was served really fast today (<10 min) as well! We liked that the dish was served piping hot and the rosti was really crispy on the outside! The rosti was lightly fried and as a result, the sides were not really burnt/charred. We felt that the rosti was delicious enough on its own although you can pair it with the sour cream served at the side if that's how you prefer to have it. The dish comes with a sunny side up and two sausages with cheese filling; while the sausages were great, you probably want to be careful with the filling as it was really hot.
The dish is priced at $18++, which is pretty reasonable and average for your usual cafe fare.
enjoyed the cointreau mocha back in 2021, but i think it got removed from the menu already :( i had the rΓΆsti while my friend had the truffle scrambled eggs. we both loved the food but portions were hugeeee! will definitely be back for the mocha ice-blend π
Finally tried this cafe! I had the Rosti with Bratwurst ($19) and although was disappointed that the bratwurst were pretty small but they were indeed juicy. The rosti was very well done with a good crispy exterior and soft interior. Love the flavours! However I was very disappointed by the bulletproof coffee ($5.5) because honestly it taste like coffeeshop kopi gao π

The star of this dish is the bratwurst. The juice spurts out every time you take a bite, hence there is actually no need for any ketchup or sauce. It tastes like those meaty sausages grilled on the barbecueπ The rΓΆsti was cripsy and goes really well with the spread given. This makes a really good breakfast dish!

My favourite french toast out of all cafesπ The brioche is soft and fragrant on its own. It is in small rectangular sizes, which makes it easier to share with friends. It is so soft you can just cut it with a knife. The almond bits and bacon give a little crunch to this delicate dish, adding a toasted and salty flavour to it. Iβm not a super big french toast fan, but I would order this if I was craving for sweet stuff.
