Not the most photogenic picture but it certainly features the most chocolatey ice cream I have ever had. It's none other than chocolate morello, which is simply valrhona chocolate and cherries that taste insanely good, rich and decadent together. This is one of the flavours invented to celebrate the upcoming International Chocolate Day on sunday. The other flavour will be the chocolate pudding which is made of the same gourmet chocolate, fruit cake, marshmellow and nuts. Personally I prefer chocolate morello because it's just that good. Beware though, that you wont be able to taste any other flavours sharing the cup.

Chef Kronos has outdone himself yet again. The ingenious chicken in a biskit really tastes exactly like the snack itself. So so nostalgic and addictive. Loved how the biscuits remain intact and not soggy despite sitting in the ice cream for so long. The choc pu'er has a great balance of the richness of the dark choc and the aroma of the Chinese tea. It was a wise decision for these two in a cup as they complimented each other without having one overpowering the other, hence allowing the appreciation of two distinctly different flavours.

It is so worth it to get 1-for-1 ice cream at this shop. Shared this deal with my friend and each of us only had to pay $2.50. Good deal! Even better when there are interesting ice cream flavours for you to choose from. The salted egg ice cream is always a must-try and must-order for me, but this time round i decided to try something different. Chanced upon new flavours and decided to try them - white chocolate nori and parmesan cheese. Glad to say I have found my 2nd favourite flavour (white chocolate nori) which was like seaweed ice cream with white chocolate bits. So so good!

1-for-1 with #burpplebeyond!

And again, trip to Tom’s Palette before they shut their doors next June! It’s a pity that they have no plans for relocation currently.

This week, the rotation of flavours had some peculiar flavours like the white chocolate nori back while hazelnut latte that I really enjoyed on the last visit wasn’t available. Excited to see my favourite chocolate, After Eight, as one of the flavours. Milky chocolate with a mix of lingering sweet mint, but it would even be better with dark chocolate. Hence, I was recommended the non-dairy chocolate sorbet, which was nothing but an intense dark chocolate of depth. Dark chocolate lovers are bound to fall in love with this flavour!

The other 2 flavours we chose were the peanut butter cookie, which I don’t really fancy though I have to admit that it tasted like a salty creamy peanut butter indeed, and a sweet-sour musky soursop flavour.

Specials for the day!!

Love the chunky homegrown basil which really balances the sweetness of the watermelon. And the pandan coconut is awesome too, light & refreshing coconut milk base with fragrant notes of pandan! Honestly can’t decide which one I like better! 😋

Heard from the grapevine that some savory flavors are making a comeback next week. Stay tuned to find out more!!

The chocolate stout is definitely heavy on the stout flavours, but interestingly enough, the bitter chocolate actually complements it so well. Rum and raisin is so good as well, as the raisins are plump and the fragrance of the rum lingers.

They have matchaya green tea as well, which is perfect with the Thai milk tea, to make it a semi sweet fragrant combination.

A 4oz cup in the picture is $5, but once again #burpplebeyond is here to save your wallet.
