Kopi with butter, and it made it to the top of my list easily. The coffee was more aromatic and fragrant, with the butter supplementing to its taste making it smoother to glide through your palate.

French toast with Kaya was one of the most well-toasted in Singapore. The bread was crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. One of the symbolic toasts of Singapore is the slightly charred exterior making its significant appearance in most traditional coffee stalls, we called Kopitiam. Butter and kaya was on the side. So no arguments as to who get more. You spread it to your own preferences.

Nothing beats good ol’ kaya toast to warm the tummy. A simple place with affordable food. They have kaya toast (thin crispy or normal) and the steamed bread version too.

Definitely got lots of attention from the neighbouring tables, so much so that one of our neighbours walked over to ask us what we ordered.

Taste wise: recommend trying this at least once. Veggies, pork floss and scallop are wrapped up and deep fried, mayo is dabbed on the outside and wrapped again in an egg roll wrap. It’s a little on the sweet side, and oily, but interesting nonetheless.
