Here you will find a wide range of different beef cuts from around the world, from New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and USA. There are also unique and specially-sourced vegetables like the Gracilaria (龙须菜) and Pea Sprouts (豌豆尖) to be discovered.



We enjoyed our Golden Chicken Soup & Stewed Marinated Beef with Spicy Soup, which is a twist from your typical collagen or pork & mala soups. Each soup base comes jam packed with ingredients such as shimeji mushrooms, radish & beef tendon, which leaves you with not much of room to order other dishes.
However, if you have a huge appetite, enjoy the different sides & premium meats that they offer! My personal favourite would be the Eight-Seconds Beef (image 7), thinly sliced NZ beef which only takes 8 seconds to cook! Or go for the Vince Tofu, thinly sliced tofu that creates a floral effect when soup is poured over it!

Hands down the most legit Chinese hotpot in the CBD. In fact I don't even think the servers speak any English ? Majority PRC customers whom I assume work in the area. Love the bustling vibe and the chilli smothered 坨坨牛肉 (even my chengdu trained taste buds find this slightly challenging). Located in a Boat Quay shop house so be prepared to climb at least one flight of stairs.

We usually come for the 麻辣香锅 ($35++, feeds 3-4 pax) but decided to try the baby crayfish this round as a side dish. Not very fresh, flesh was a bit mushy. Stick to the hotpot or MLXG!

The favourite has got to be the Shake-shake Crispy Pork ($10) whereby deep fried pork strips are served in a shaker tub with the seasoning of salt and pepper added to it. Diners can take the tub, give it a good shake to mix the seasoning evenly and snack on these addictive treats. Other snacks include the BBQ Garlic Oysters ($32 for 6 pieces) and the unique Fried Min Leaf ($8) that’s lightly battered and fried till crispy.
