Clear broth with rich flavors. Beef slices were tender and had a good mix of soft bones/tendons/flesh. Chilli flakes and oil mixture adds complements the flavor but is neither too "ma" nor too "la". Opted for the small flat noodles that were smooth and a little chewy. Worth a try.

Mala Beef Noodles with flat noodles and it was good as usual! The soup was really tasty because it wasn’t just laden with chilli oil so we liked it a lot.

The unassuming clear soup was light, comforting and surprisingly packed with flavour!

Pick from Signature/ Sauerkraut/ mala spicy or dry beef noodle, with dry chicken noodles as the only non-beef version; followed by the preferred thickness of your noodles. And I love that one is given the option to not have any coriander/ Chinese leek or chilli in the bowl.

I’d have preferred a more al-dente texture for the hand-pulled noodles. Also added on grilled chicken which was very juicy but a little on the salty side. Probably good for sharing.

I love handmade noodles but haven’t been to Tongue Tip since I don’t take beef. Finally got the chance to try their chicken dish, thanks to Tiong Bahru Plaza’s ongoing food promotion - ‘Rewind & Unwind to Your Good ‘Ol Food Paradise’ that’s happening till 6 Oct 2019. You get $20 worth of food hunt vouchers at $15, alongside other membership promotions. It’s worth the price and encourages you to explore new food options (& there are loads in TBP)!

Tongue Tip offers 8 types of noodles to choose from and we went with the ‘small flat’ option. The default oil based sauce wasn’t as flavourful, but it helped to toss in a good amount of their vinegar and chilli. The pan fried chicken pieces looked dry, but were surprisingly well seasoned and pretty tender. If you don’t take beef, skip the accompanying broth as it is beef-based. They also have this dry chicken noodles in large ($10.90) or plain ($7.50/$9/50).

Best and super legit beef noodles I have ever tasted. The noodles was soft and smooth and just the right amount of chewiness. We ordered the mala beef noodles ($9.50) and the specialty beef noodles ($8.50) with the set of a side dish and a drink (+ $4 each). The mala soup was super shiok, spicy and the chives and relishes really complements the soup very well. I highly recommend this place for cheap and good beef noodles. 😊

Broth is amazing. Noodles are chewy. Beef is tender and everything is just awesome. Worth every inch, corner and space in my stomach.
