had this before and it tastes just as good 🤤 love the charred taste of their pork and all the flavours went vv well together. my only gripe is that the portion is v small

been here a few times before and i still rly love their food, although their portions are on the smaller side. burpple deal no longer includes their quesadilla/burrito/taco which is such a shame bc i rly enjoy them

beef was v tender and flavourful! might be quite messy to eat if you use your hands but i just cut into it and scooped up any fallen ingredients so it wasn’t a big issue

We had to get their Fish Taco ($20/2pcs). Yes, pricey but their signature taco came with a soft Flour Tortilla topped with flakey-moist, crispy battered fish, tartar sauce, and Pico De Gallo. The salsa was yummy and sweet. Similarly, their marinated Pork ($19) and grilled Chicken ($17) Quesadillas were served with a lovely Pineapple Salsa. The quarters were wrapped with warm, gooey, melted cheese and had a more spiced kick.

Quite the underrated spot, due to the many food options at Jewel Changi Airport, Tonito offers a competent selection of lesser-known Latin American cuisine. Psst and you get to dine with glimpses of the rain vortex light show from your seat.

To start we had the Ceviche Tonito ($28), a tangy number with Baby Scallops, Tiger’s Milk (citrus fruit juice), Ikura, Cherry Tomatoes, sliced onions and Purple Potato Chips. My first time having the refreshing sharp marinate and it really helped brighten the fresh scallops! The crispy earthy chips were also very moreish and provided that textural contrast.

My favourite at the table came in the form of one of their mains, the flavourful Mejillón Negro ($28). Like a refined spiced seafood broth, the lip-smacking sauce had a mild heat and lingering boozy aftertaste with the addition of Lustau Dry Sherry Wine - great to mop with their soft-crusty Mini Baguette (+$2). The seafood was plump and tasted fresh. The Chile Black Mussels, Chorizo, and Tiger Prawns were nicely seasoned too.

[If you are on Burpple Beyond the mains are 1 for 1 from Mondays to Thursdays.]

a rice pudding that’s usually vanilla flavoured, but I was glad chocolate was incorporated instead as it gave it more sweetness🍫🍫
