This period, they also offer the truffle oil mushroom Kurobuta pork cutlet which is an absolute treat for fans of truffle. The mushrooms with truffle oil elevated the flavours while enhancing the juiciness of the Kurobuta cutlet. Good enough it didn’t need any sauce to go along.

Ordered their mille-feuille pork katsu with cheese and it is good! This dish is quite unique because the pork meat is layered like mille crepes instead of a big chunck of meat on your normal pork katsu. In the middle of the layer they put melted cheese which add so much savouryness to the dish. I love the hospitality there and how complete a meal is. They gave you a mini appetizer and also jelly as dessert. You shiukd try their Kurobuta, I heard that the fat melts in your mouth and the meat is very juicy.

Would I come back? Maybe, this is definitely on the steeper side but I would come back when I feel like spending more. #igotfoodcoma #burpple

Ma na ma, this definitely the best tonkatsu shop in Singapore. In addition to more variety (eg. Kurobota, prawn, fish, Nagoya style, etc) , the tonkatsu here is just extraordinary - moist inside and crispy batter outside. My fav is the jumbo pork loin. The mixed grain rice, soup and cabbage (all with free refills) are also superior. Side dishes are sometimes questionable; for example, the grilled mentaiko is too salty. On weekends, ne prepared to queue. Votre maison est ma maison when it comes to tonkatsu!

This is my go to if I am craving for tonkatsu. Go straight for kurobuta if it’s the first time you’re trying.
Meat was fried to perfection even though it was thick. It didn’t come off too dry. Instead, it was juicy and tender. I like that they serve multi grain rice as well instead of just white rice. 8.0/10
