The filling was not bad but the buns weren't good. Oh well it's free though so hard to complain
Overall this place is pretty value for money actually, what with the quality of the ingredients and excellent cooking techniques as well as innovation. Highly recommended, it's not too ulu either
Smallest portion, there's at least one medium portion that feeds 8-9 available
It's pretty good, im sorry to say while everything was nice I wasn't blown away by the homemade waxed meat. The wild rice however is really interesting, it's pulpy and kind of like barley in the chew. Nothing like rice though tbh so just be mentally prepared.
Apparently it used to be that it's all waxed meat for the toppings but now it's not, not sure if it's to cut costs
After splitting between 5 everyone gets a precious bowl. There's also mushroom and some tofu thing for more umami and texture.
I'm not really sure what variety of crab this is(definitely not the normal ones) but the thin shell meant for the same price it's packed full of meat, making it really value for money
This was really delicious. It's savoury and the crab taste is pretty strong. More importantly the congee was super thick, with the viscosity coming from the ingredients(not only cos the rice was nearly goo)
I'm pretty sure the teochew style is more easily found but I personally think this is much more intense and shiok
Delicious. I mean it's not unexpected but this is really well executed, the sauce is full of umami, and the cabbage was so soft.
