PRICE: $4

WAITING TIME: 14 minutes on a Saturday mid afternoon (3rd in queue)

REMARKS:
- Too spicy, he says. But I love it. No hint of red but so subtly spicy.
- Love the al dente noodles texture
- Love the handmade minced pork balls (there's a mixture of handmade ones and non-handmade store-bought one)
- The uncle at the stall is really nice, smiley and friendly.

I know this stall is famous for the mee hoon kway, but I wasn't feeling like it that day, so I ordered this dish instead. The broth was a bit too salty for my liking, although the noodles had a good bite. I'd prefer minced meat to meatballs, but I guess overall it is a decent dish.

Cheaper than most food courts but the quality is so much more exquisite. The noodles are well-cooked and bouncy, whilst the broth had a nice dose of umami with a tinge of sweetness. This is a homely but scrumptuous bowl of noodles that's worth coming back for (when the queue is shorter).

Loved how palatably chewy the handmade kueh was. The soup version might have been a wider choice as the unevenly kneaded pieces of kueh ended up sticking to one another. The chilli sauce was sure packed with a punch so please do ask for less spicy if you have low tolerance for spiciness!

Love love love this noodle stall! The dry ban mian is well cooked and coated with dark sauce and chilli sauce. The noodles come with meat balls and a bowl of really delicious soup! There’s usually along queue during peak lunch and dinner hours, so odd hours in the afternoon is the best time!

The ban mian here is really good - I think the best part of it is the chilli that really packs a punch. The chilli isn’t just ordinary chilli sauce - it’s fresh chilli which really gives the ban mian some extra edge. It’s really spicy though (coming from a spice lover) so if you think you can’t take it, ask for less chilli! The noodles are soft and springy and I love the pork slices and meatballs.
