Well it’s an ok poke bowl. Decent, not wow. It’s good for those who hate raw fish because everything here is torched, as its name suggests. However, I thought it was a little too heavy on the mentaiko..

Pictured is the Tamago Mentaiyaki ($8.50). Taste wise - everything was on the lighter side, could seriously do with more marinating though. My pick would be the spicy salmon or the kimchi salmon.

You could order the Bowl with just Tamago Mentaiko for a mere $8.50, though here we had a Medium Bowl with the tamago as an add-on for $2. Not a fan of tamago (always found it too sweet) but this one was pretty decent, not too sweet.

Prices range from $8.50 to $18.50 depending on whether you get Small/Med/Large (portions of fish) and Classic/Torched. Wished that their marinade could be stronger. Fortunately we got to try this off the menu pork Bowl (they had a special Pork Tacos item that day) which was super yummy! Though evidently not that healthy anymore haha

A new concept located in The Hub Singapore, Torched is a new poké bowl concept that gives you the option to get your FLAME ON (who doesn't like to aburi everything) with your usual suspects like salmon and tuna.🔥

Something else stole our hearts though, and it was this unassuming pork taco. Crispy sio bak in a creamy kimchi mix was a winner combination. It was so shiok, we asked for our next poké bowl to be topped with this instead! 😛It doesn't seem to be on their permanent menu though, but hopefully it stays.

The poké marinade here sits on the lighter end of the flavour spectrum, so if you prefer heavier flavours, you might want to try this off-the-menu bowl instead for a party in your mouth!

We initially had this roast pork with kimchi combo in taco form and loved it so much we asked if it's possible to do a rice bowl version, and to our delight they said yes! 👯 Super tasty and satisfying, get it if it's available.
