This was very satisfying Hakka Thunder tea rice with additional ytf plus the not-too-thick leh cha bowl of soup. So good!

It was as Hakka as it can be and with the Hakka bittergourd and meatball added, it completed it! Price - $6.30

Leicha was alright, not bad but not outstanding. Could do with more roasted peanuts. Opted for brown rice shao fan, the brown rice is p decent, not v hard. Overall tastes quite healthy and more plain compared to most, which I didn’t mind - most of the saltiness stemmed from the heibi so it wasn’t v salty. I liked the cabbage, it was cooked the way I like it - soft and tender with a slight crunch, but not raw. Not very oily! Soup is kinda diluted / bland, didn’t like it. Added on a fried taukwa ($1) which was quite large, not bad - tofu was soft and fresh, the meat paste was quite well-seasoned. Might add on a meatball next time to try, that’s cheaper at $0.50. Also, it’s $4 for white rice!

Always a fan of lei Cha but this disappointed in the diluted and thin sauce. Not sure if it was the addition of milk but there was also an odd creaminess instead of fragrant tea and nutty flavour. Ingredients were generous and tasty but just let down by the broth

$4.50 ($4 with white rice). Variety of vegetables given - very filling for one. The 茶 was fragrant too. Other Hakka side dishes available at the stall too.
