โœ๐Ÿป: One of the best pizza I ever had! The burrata cheese was mild yet adds so much flavour to the dish. The ham was sliced thinly but was flavourful. The best part of the pizza is the thin and crispy crust which is unlike the mediocre pizza outlets with bread-like crust. Recommended!

โœ๐Ÿป: The risotto was honestly a little salty and portion was small. However, there was a good flavour to it and was a good plate of risotto!

Gnocchi was soft and smooth, even though I was afraid it was going to be mushy. It paired well with the Roma tomato sauce, which gave a saccharin tangy taste which was refreshingly different from your typical bolognese pasta. The dried salt-cured Italian bacon was also mindblowingly flavourful, and much of the saltiness from this dish came from this bacon. Iโ€™d recommend having every bite of gnocchi with the bacon just so you can have all them flavours bursting in your mouth. The ricotta also helped to give an additional milky and slightly creamy texture to this whole dish. What a well thought of and made pasta dish at La Trattoria Vita!

I polished off this plate of pasta in minutes simply because of how delightful it was. The thick, flat, pappardelle texture was cooked to al dente perfection, and it was simmered in a thick and slightly acidic red wine broth. The resultant gravy which doused the pasta had an amazing braised savoury flavour which blended so well with the generous amount of duck ragu and porcini mushrooms. With the all elements coming together, there was an aroma of mushrooms and red wine sweetness. I did think they could afford to add a few more pieces of pappardelle in this dish though. Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend this dish, and it would be perfect if youโ€™d still want some space for dessert.

Trattoria La Vita just streamlined their menu and their latest menu is a lot more limited than before. Nonetheless, we decided to give the Trattoria a try because we were quite impressed by the food the first time we visited! In particular, we liked their pizzas because the pizzas here are thin-crust pizzas which are tasty with a crispy exterior, yet they do not fill your tummies easily!

The Burrata Alla La Vita is a tomato-based pasta with prosciutto ham, rockets and of course, Burrata cheese. However, the Burrata was a little too solid and it should probably have been left outside a little more before it was added onto the pizza. Aside from being a little difficult to spread it, the Burrata was great and really creamy! The ham and tomato base are pretty standard so there is no need to worry about the other ingredients.

Although this is a decent dish overall, we still preferred the unique menu items that the Trattoria used to offer in the past, such as their Shirasu Whitebait pizza which is no longer available. ๐Ÿ˜ญ Thankfully, the restaurant is still on Burpple and you should use your Burpple Beyond vouchers if available to enjoy a discount! ๐Ÿ˜

This is our third visit here and we are disappointed to find out that the menu has changed and our favourites are gone (shirasu whitebait pizza and bucatini amatricana)! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ There's also less variety as compared to the previous menu which is quite sad.

We decided to go for the classic carbonara in the end which we found average. We liked that it was super eggy and quite herby. Quite a bit of parsley was added. Asparagus was also added which we thought was interesting and a nice complement! However it was too salty. It tasted like quite a bit of msg. Together with the bacon which was quite salty as well, we had to reach for water several times through the meal. We didn't like the pasta texture either as we found it too soft to our liking. It felt like Ipoh horfun...

Worth a try if using burpple/entertainer but definitely not a recommend if you're paying full price.
