Treasures Yi Dian Xin is one of my favorite restaurant for dim sum in Singapore. You can be guaranteed of the same great quality across all 4 outlets. New dishes are regularly introduced so do come down to check them out from time to time. https://hungryghost.sg/treasures-yi-dian-xin-by-imperial-treasure-paragon/

Gold oozing out of a soft black bun, probably the best thing Id be seeing this entire week. Liked how the fillings are homogeneous and doesnt strangely separate into a layer of oil and gold.

Their take away sets cost $12.80. One main dish of rice/noodles or congee, one small serving of vege, and one dessert. I chose this crispy bun for dessert. Pastry was really thick, until I got to the middle. Red bean paste was in abundance there. Not too sweet I like. Outer layer was still crispy after 2 hrs.

This came in a set with my soy sauce chicken (which I forgot to take pic of). Bao skin was a bit too thick in some areas. But the skin texture was the starchy kind, which I like. The salted egg yolk custard was really good. Good lava texture and savory.

Incidentally, for the soy sauce chicken, any request for any part (except breast meat) would require a $2 top up.

The last time I came, the sauce was provided in a small bowl. This time it was poured on the rice rolls before serving. Amt was too little so the dish was quite bland. But I enjoyed the crispy shrimps very much.

This dish came warm, but the meat was surprisingly salty. Not as tender as I remembered it.
