This was recommended by our server. And yes this was the best dish that night. Since my friend was keen on another vege dish, we went for it thou the price was on the high side. We found out why when it arrived. There were a few big pcs of purple sweet potato looking things (I didn’t eat them so not sure) and prawns. The prawns were really fresh and sweet. And of cos got Kang kong. Very fresh not tough. The best part was the gravy. So Lemak, slightly spicy and sweet, yet savory. It was soooo good. I flooded my rice with it and dipped everything I could in it. I even drank it like soup when I ran out of ingredients to pair it with. Highly recommended.

This dish had very good gravy. Again, like the ayam buah keluak, it also had 3 pcs inside. Not sure if it was the norm or they saw that we were a party of 3. The meat was on the tough side and a bit small, but flavor was very good.

This was a well executed dish. Beany taste was not overwhelming and seasoning was just right. A good sized portion. Ingredients used were fresh. I liked this.

There were exactly 3 pcs of chicken inside. And 3 pcs of buah keluak. Each nut had a hole where you could use your fork to scrap out the black chocolate inside. I thot that was really considerate. First time I tasted buah keluak paste. It was an acquired taste. This dish was quite good. The gravy was delicious. I wished the portion was bigger.

This was ok only. Quite average. But it wasn’t bad, just that I’ve had better. The dipping sauce was not very strongly flavored, so in the end I abandoned it and used the Sambal belacan and gravy from the Kang kong Lemak.

Two pcs of otak otak on the plate. Size was not very big but the flavor was awesome. Pretty spicy. I really enjoyed this.
