The curry with rice (hkd67) was really good! Thick flavourful gravy and tender beef briskets. Like a really well done rendang - couldn't stop. Loved the texture of tossed noodles in this King Prawns in XO Sauce (hkd56) but tasted slightly alkaline. XO sauce was quite shiok.
The sides were crispy while the bun was soft, and so guilty but I finished every bit of the condensed milk!! The bun (hkd19) was damn shiok, accompanied by their milk tea (hkd20), smooth and well-balanced without being overly bitter.
Who would have thought that a simple snack like this could cause such a deep impression? Hot and crispy bread with a slight burnt taste and perfectly sweetened, so delicious that if it had been possible, I would be contented to have this for breakfast every other day! Taking another bite...
