Look to this Jap restaurant in Plaza Singapura for a lunch date spot with mum. You are here for the Bijin Nabe ($25 per pax) which sees vegetables, seafood and chicken cooked in a thick and sweet golden Jidori chicken broth — a potent eight hour-brew where chicken bones get fully dissolved turning into a silky smooth pudding that's high in collagen. Pro-tip: come during off peak hours to avoid queuing.

This is the first time I tried their hotpot and oh my, I was hooked. Every time my Friend ask me where to meet, I’ll say Dhoby Ghaut Bijin Nabe? It’s like that’s the only food place that exist in that mall. This is a late post but I can still taste the richness of soup in my mouth. Thinking about it every time makes me want to go back to drinking this. The best part is we’re able to add more soup!! We added other ingredients in like prawn, meat ball, red radish and etc. Yum yum. Perfect for a raining day!

Haven’t had Tsukada Nojo’s bijin men in ages and found out they have expanded their beauty ramen menu! I tried the tantanmen which came with an almond milk collagen ball and the soup was really rich and flavourful. The thick mochi noodles went well with the soup and I enjoyed it a lot 😍😍

We tried their sukiyaki and kept the sauce on the side. Really enjoyed this lunch.

Finally got to try the Jap beauty collagen hotpot. Pure fats!! no water added for the broth and the soup makes me crave for chicken rice lol. Taste exactly like boiled kampung chicken haha. Not free flow, the set mostly serves veg (healthier choice) and special veg like watermelon radish? The pot has chicken in it and i was really full that day. Very filling probably due to the collagen. instant fat boost😂 they have several meat and noodles add on options plus free sorbet if you like their fb page/ig💕 i will definitely return for more!! cheaper than beauty in a pot at approx $28 per pax for dinner set👍🏻

The collagen pieces gracefully melts into the chicken soup after it comes to a boil. After which the waitress will take some out into a sake cup for us to taste the original flavor and portion the chicken before adding in all the vegetables into the broth. I must agree, after the collagen completely melts into the chicken stock, it thickens the broth and added sweetness to it. Also, the fresh greens well complemented the soup broth and totally absorbed the essence of the collagen and chicken broth. Totally warms your stomach on a cool rainy day!
