One of the signatures at Tung Lok. However, the taste of the curry powder overpowered the chili. The crab was meaty and fresh but have tasted much better chili crab.

Famous for their Signature Chili Crab, TungLok Seafood has been serving up Singapore-style dishes and fresh seafood since established in 1984. Tuck into an array of classic dishes such as Crispy Chicken ($16/half), Baked Pork Rib with Chef's Special Sauce ($10), Sauteed Seafood and Vegetables Served in Yam Ring ($28), Baby 'Kai Lan' served in Chinchalok Sauce ($14) and more!

TungLok Seafood’s Signature Chilli Crab. If you have tried TungLok Seafood’s chilli crab before, you might have picked up a citrusy hint in the well-balanced sauce. That lovely note comes from the addition of fresh hand-squeezed orange juice

They just opened at Paya Lebar Quarter PLQ!

Aside from the fresh crabs with chunky and juicy meat, what makes this rendition unique is how the sauce combines tomato sauce and fresh-squeezed orange juice to deliver a distinct taste.

You would find that the sauce to be fruitier and even eggier than usual, and so makes it appetising yet not overly rich. The good thing is there is A LOT of sauce, so good that you can even have it on its own.

Of course, it is best appreciated when you dunk those piping hot deep-fried mantou to soak up all that mildly-spicy gravy. Yums.
