From the Burpple community

This place is super popular but I find the waffles very mediocre, not sure what the hype is about. It has 1–1 Burpple deal which makes it really cheap but I would not queue for the waffle here.

The ice cream is also so-so. So really not sure why crowds flock here.

Verdict: 2.75/5

Nubbad haha tastes like normal waffles and ice cream ah!! Speculoos cheesecake q rich tho.

Tea was not bad, the Passionfruit smell was strong and fragrant. It’s a little bit on the sweet side but it’s just nice for me. We got this as part of the Beyond 1-for-1 Waffle and Drink deal.

Visited this cafe on a Monday afternoon and it wasn’t too busy, we could easily get seats for two.

Thought there was milo ice cream but there wasn’t and you’d need to top up $1 for the chocolate flavours as they were premium. The rest of the ice cream flavours didn’t fit the Milo powder, so we had to opt for plain old vanilla ice cream with Milo powder drizzled on top.

We initially wanted to order the S’mores Waffle (menu said $15) but then they told me I’d have to top up $1 because the chocolate ice cream shown in the menu picture was premium - so why’d they state it was $15 geez.

Overall an okay waffle place but nothing special imo. I do think it’s extremely overpriced at its original pricing.

Soft serve was quite nice, but I personally didn’t really like the waffles because it was more crispy than fluffy - I guess if you prefer lighter waffles than this might be suited for you. Waffles look cool with the yuanyang design but both parts taste the same to me. :P

This place have been so hyped about but at the same time there were many negative reviews about them on Burpple, complaining about long waiting time and cold hard waffle, but I still decided to try them out.

I ordered the customized Hojicha Soft-serve waffle [$9.90] , it comes with a waffle pieces that have been cut into smaller rectangular to form a smaller sized whole round waffle, a crispy thin circle of waffle cone for the hojicha soft-serve to sit on, dense and rich brownie cubes and a cookies ’n’ cream pocky stick.

I waited probably less than 10mins for my waffle, it didn’t come out hot and crispy but it was still warm, light and crispy unlike what others have been complaining about. The hojicha flavour was not too overpowering and it went well with the crispy waffle and rich brownie cubes. Will revisit and try the other combinations!
