Bao Zi : chrysanthemum white choco mousse, yuzu, lemon and matcha sponge $8.50

Mian Jiang kueh (background) : crepe layer, salted caramel chantilly, peanut butter and roasted peanuts $8

Both were yummy but the bao Zi was definitely more refreshing and unique! It was also very pleasing to the eye and good for all the ‘gram shots! Not such a fan of peanuts hence lesser love for the Mian Jiang kueh but cool take on this local traditional dessert of ours!

Ordered the following: $11.88 for Baileys cold brew. $9.30 for Bao zi. $8.80 for Paddlepop cheesecake. $15.40 for pandan pancakes... the prices here are a bit steep. But i guess you are paying for the artwork of the old school desserts as well. The old school desserts are pretty unique and delicious. The pandan pancakes are fluffy but it is not what i would order again. My favourite item is the Baileys cold brew.

Generous and Instagram-worthy plates here that combine elements of local and western food, like the Har Cheong Kai French Toast ($18) I ate 😋 Price is on the high side but it’s inclusive of GST and you can buy chope vouchers for 10% off! Ideal place for a Sunday brunch and you can hop around the nearby cafes for dessert/coffee after.

This is served cold as dessert! Don't get me wrong, it does taste like a dessert! The skin is chrysanthemum white chocolate mousse. What's inside? Come and try urself! They have wide variety of beverage selection as well, such as coconut latte and dirty Chai.

Took this photo before even drinking, it was half filled with ice and not even 80% full. This iced minty chocolate cost $7, what a scam for the price.

A quiet cafe known for their cute baked goods and good coffee located nearby Lavender MRT.

Their “Cold Brew White” [$7] is as good as I remember. The homemade cold brew is mellow and smooth. It’s definitely my go-to drink when I am at this cozy cafe.

I also tried their “Hojicha Tiramisu”. It has the components of Hojicha mascarpone, Hojicha tea soaked ladyfinger cream and Hojicha powder. At first glance, it’s almost as if it is a copy of a bottle of Kaya. For the appearance wise, it’s definitely interesting and eye-catching. However, while the taste was good at the start, it definitely became too overbearing near the middle. There was just too much cream and not enough ladyfinger. Though I enjoyed its appearance, I cannot say I liked the proportion of ladyfinger to cream in this dessert. It was a good try but I don’t think I will be ordering this again.

Still, Two Bakers is one of the cafes which I will definitely return to. The ambience, coffee and other good desserts are more than enough reasons to keep me a loyal customer.
