Sago base with Coconut Ice Cream. No need more description but just look the flow of Gula Melaka.

Fresh meatballs and ngoh hiong. Incredibly spicy chili and sweet sauce. At $5 it is still very much worth it with the large quantity and quantity of food given!

Located in the same corner coffeeshop (at the junction of Eng Hoon Street and Tiong Poh Road) that houses the well-known Tiong Bahru Yong Tau Foo stall is this new-ish hawker.
Pardon the image of my partially tossed noodles but I had been too eager to take a sip of the gravy and had forgotten to take a pic first. Anyway, to be frank, I found the taste to a bit on the mild side and would have preferred it to have much more of an "assam" or sour kick. Having said that, there's still a lot to enjoy about this Penang Laksa, such as the abundance of shredded cucumber, sweet pineapples, crunchy lettuce and mint leaves. Plus that there is no MSG in the slow-cooked gravy, making it a healthier choice.

The pasta soaked up the sauce from the clams and seasoned by simple S&P. Simple flavor but the texture of the pasta had changed.

This place is a kopitiam that sells Yong Tau Foo in the daytime, and converts into a pizza, pasta & tapas diner at night. Expect no air-con, but their thin crust pizzas are pretty good. This smoked duck pizza is a must-have - slices of smoked duck, arugula, and dollops of truffle infused cream sauce, flavours all work well together. Some of the other items and tapas weren't as good, service somewhat lukewarm too (just like the diner's temperature) ;)

Lychee Sprite and the Signature Drink: Sour Plum + Cai Xing (green leafy veg) + Pineapple. The latter sounds like a weird concoction, but actually really yummy. The taste of the salty-sweet sour plum prevails. Like it.
