Ordered the hot version of the bird nest, not sure if is legit but it tastes decent. Iced ginkgo nuts with coconut milk tastes refreshing especially on a humid weather.
This humble place sells affordable shark's fin soup. However, this fell short of expectations. Soup was quite bland, I mean shark's fin itself is tasteless, but it's quite unlike the one's served in our restaurants in the past. Huge portion of shark's fin. If you must, just get one pot to share. The bird nest here was rather disappointing as well, far too sweet and lacked the fragrance of pandan leaves that I like.
Lovely fried rice with a good wok hei taste. The tze char here is also not bad, the Kang Kong especially is really good.
