Located at tourist attraction thus it was pricey. However, the portion was big and there were 2 fresh prawns. Inside there's also sotong and sliced fish. The hor fun was actually quite good, i would eat it again if it was priced around $8-$10.

Such a solid good cup of iced tea (less sugar) for no reason at all. The staff made it so professionally — I deadass saw him pull the tea for me🥺 With a frothy finish and creamy texture, this teh peng was one of the best teh I’ve had in a while. Not gonna lie that I have absolutely low expectations of food at tourist attractions, but this tea can be an attraction in itself. It’s sickeningly expensive though, but since I do not come here that often, as long as the quality remains consistent, I’m gonna get this when I’m back. I do think that it’s largely dependent on the very kind and top notch staff who did this for me🥺

Char Kway Teow was an ordinary find here, but it really tastes better than it looks (though not that worthy of the price… let’s consider that we’re at the Night Safari). The dark brown colour in the kway teow wasn’t there, nor was I welcomed by the quintessential char kway teow aroma you’d find in your Hawker centres. So I was pleasantly surprised when this ended up tasting quite decent — in terms of flavour, the slight char, the sweetness from the dark sauce, crunchiness from the beansprouts, and the fresh prawns. With all the elements together, it did culminate to a plate of normal char kway teow. Nonetheless, this still could definitely do with much more wok hei flavour and aroma!

Taste of Malaysia at Night Safari!

Decent dish. Rice was pretty fragrant though it did not look the most aesthetically pleasing with a rather lacklustre blue. The achar is adequately appetising. The rendang was decent — a pretty small portion and while it wasn’t bland, it definitely could do with a much stronger flavour. Notwithstanding that, the meat was pretty tender. Shoutout to the chilli for adding that real spicy kick! It was pretty shiok and a good complement to everything on the plate.

I liked this a lot, and I think it’s pretty affordable for a meal in a tourist attraction. It was sufficiently flavourful and of adequate portion, making it filling for a meal. Although this is no authentic back pepper beef teppanyaki, I have no complaints! This is definitely one of the better meals to have in the Zoos.

Sesame shoyu sounded like an unorthodox option with black pepper and teriyaki as the alternatives, but it was surprisingly extremely tasty and flavourful! Only gripe I have is that together with the rice, it would be a drier option because it did not have much gravy to it. Still, I thought it was pretty delicious and definitely one of the better dishes within the Mandai Parks.
