For Ocean-Fresh Bowls on Casual Date Nights
A quiet hole-in-the-wall near the MRT, this is great for couples on no-frills date night. Get the Aburi Salmon Don ($13) and Anago Don (sea eel don, $18) at the price of one. If you've got cash to spare, make this a special treat with the Monkfish Liver ($7) to go with a bottle of House Sake ($20 a bottle).

my first choice of affordable and delicious salmon dons. been back here so many times the cravings never end!!! their burnt mayo sauce is so addictive (tho this time it was a little less smokey than i remembered). only disappointment is that my meal ended but i love uni nami so much 😭😭😭

Indeed a big bowl with lots of clams! Super fantastic, the broth is light and tasty, the clams are juicy and fresh. The portion is definitely not for one. Every clam is definitely not empty! Highly recommend this as a sharing side dish.

Sliced tuna seared on the outside, sprinkled with salt and pepper. The seared layer is a little tough and dried. Not amazing, still prefer their signature Aburi Scallop Salmon Don.

Cooked sea eel slices with traditional sauce and seaweed. This is one of the few cooked and warm food items under the Rice Bowls section of the menu. It is a different type of eel, cut thinly and served with a sweet-salty sauce.

Ordered the salmon don with $2 add on for miso soup and edename. The food was great and worth it for the price! Only gripe about the place is the rude staff. They were pretty grumpy. :(
