Serving the CHEAPEST Unagi Hitsumabushi (Small) in town at $9.80 is @unauna.sg, a three-month-old unagi specialty restaurant nestled in Bugis+.

For those who don’t know, there are three ways to eat a Hitsumabushi. First, divide the bowl into portions. Enjoy the first portion on its own and relish the eel's depth of flavour. Then, for the second portion, add nori, wasabi and spring onions to the Hokkaido rice and eel. For the third portion, add the clear dashi to the above mix.

Slathered with their in-house basting tare and freshly grilled over hot charcoal, each slab of unagi was glistening ✨ on the outside, tender & juicy on the inside. How I wish they were as crispy as the ones I had at Man Man Unagi...😛
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Delicious ramen place!!!! One of the best I’ve ever eaten and the portion was HUGE! Worth it for the portion and taste.

Ambience was great too because we had a nice seat at the cubicles that mimicked watami style dining :)

💸Unagi Hitsumabushi (Regular): $14.80
Una Una offers quality unagi bowls that are affordable and worth it’s price. The No. 1 set, Histumabushi, comes in 3 different sizes- small, regular and double. If you are an unagi lover, definitely go for the double for more unagi! For this set, there are recommended 3 different ways of enjoying- have it plain, have it with the condiments and have it with the dashi. Personally, I prefer to have it with the condiments but feel free to enjoy it however you like🤤 $14.80++ for a quality unagi hitsumabushi is definitely a steal!💯

This is really worth! Generous portion of fish at a very reasonable price. Quality was good too. Comes with dashi broth.

This set is probably one of the most value for money ones in Singapore - the hitsumabushi set tastes fresh and the presentation is pretty authentic (I’ve had hitsumabushi in its birthplace, Nagoya). However, even though it’s about 2/3 the price of Man Man, I’d still recommend the more pricey options of Man Man and Uya for true quality, with just the right amount of crisp on the outside and the tender meat within.

V nice char on the unagi, meat is tender but you can feel the bones a bit which I’m not a fan of. Otherwise service is great, Rice is tasty and overall a great value deal!

Ladies: get the single portion, I was stuffed!
