The regular portion is quite generous considering fhe price. The unagi is portion is nice and the rice is normal (not too small not too much). The unagi is grilled nicely and got a sweet and savory taste nicely. The pickled radish is fresh and crispy but the wasabi they give is small and could be spicier. The chicken stock is quite disappointing tho. The stock taste is usually supposed to be subtle so as not to ruin the unagi flavour but enhanced it, but this is way way too subtle it just ruin the unagi taste.
Overall it's a nice value for money and definitely good experience!
Una Una is well know for having the cheapest ๐จ๐ป๐ฎ๐ด๐ถ ๐๐ถ๐๐๐๐บ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐๐๐ต๐ถ in SG, with their half portion coming in at just $9.80, regular at $14.80, and double at $19.80. So does the price affect the quality?
Obviously, it can't match up to the likes of Man Man but it's also almost half the price. In the face of affordability, I can't complain โ this is a solid option. Those scarlet chunks of eel were grilled to a nice tenderness with a touch of char, while sporting a glistening glaze that bestowed richness and depth without being turning cloying.
Alas, I did find the rice somewhat mushy, however that's not a huge complaint. Especially since my favourite mode of eating involves dousing it all in dashi broth, sprinkled with some spring onions and wasabi. This way results in a crisp profile while softening some of the glaze so you can get a more natural taste of the eel.

Went for the Double serving ($19.80 before gst and service charge) and they were quite generous in their servings.
If Man Man took my breath away, then I would say this is relatively on par given the value price point. Worth trying and will go again
If you love unagi and has a budget below 20 try una una! Personally been there twice and enjoyed my meal. Portion was just nice and service was quick and friendly.
Pretty decent & tasty unagi don at a very affordable price. This is a double portion which costs $19.80. The small portion is $9.80
UnaUna (under Ramen Champion)
Hitsumabushi (Unadon) (Regular) ($14.80) was just nice serving for me include pickles, miso soup, dashi and spring onion. I also topped up with chawansushi ($3) but its just surprised that their chawansushi was not that bad compared to Hitsumabsushi (Unadon) was much pretty bad because got dark "char" surface on the unagi ๐ณ๐ฑ. I didn't expected that their rice was quite dry and not that moist type of rice and such a disappointment. ๐ Good thing about dashi (soup stock) covered up on dry rice so much better than nothing. ๐คญThere were different three ways of enjoy Hitsumabushi. 1) Put some rice and eel in the rice bowl 2) Put some condiments into rice bowl (didn't see at the table) 3) Add dashi (soup stock) in rice bowl. My sister topped up with Salmon Sushi ($4) as its just suprised that their washi look much fresh and spicy on the salmon. She also ordered Hitsumabushi (Unadon) (Small) ($9.80) as she was having similar thoughts on Unadon. Should be going to try Man Man Unagi next time ๐
