If you love unagi and has a budget below 20 try una una! Personally been there twice and enjoyed my meal. Portion was just nice and service was quick and friendly.

Pretty decent & tasty unagi don at a very affordable price. This is a double portion which costs $19.80. The small portion is $9.80

UnaUna (under Ramen Champion)
Hitsumabushi (Unadon) (Regular) ($14.80) was just nice serving for me include pickles, miso soup, dashi and spring onion. I also topped up with chawansushi ($3) but its just surprised that their chawansushi was not that bad compared to Hitsumabsushi (Unadon) was much pretty bad because got dark "char" surface on the unagi 😳😱. I didn't expected that their rice was quite dry and not that moist type of rice and such a disappointment. 😑 Good thing about dashi (soup stock) covered up on dry rice so much better than nothing. 🤭There were different three ways of enjoy Hitsumabushi. 1) Put some rice and eel in the rice bowl 2) Put some condiments into rice bowl (didn't see at the table) 3) Add dashi (soup stock) in rice bowl. My sister topped up with Salmon Sushi ($4) as its just suprised that their washi look much fresh and spicy on the salmon. She also ordered Hitsumabushi (Unadon) (Small) ($9.80) as she was having similar thoughts on Unadon. Should be going to try Man Man Unagi next time 😅

Tbh, unagi anywhere will always be expensive so this was actually pretty worthwhile - considering how unagi makes one full easily and although it doesn’t look like there’s a lot of grilled eel, you feel really full finishing the meal! 😍 loved it, always craving.

For a more affordable Hitsumabushi, this is where you should visit. The double portion cost you only $20.80++.

Topped with lots of spicy flake that challenge your tastebud. I could say it is still acceptable and not really challenging. There’s also additional flake for you to add on.

Unagi: apparently there was soft & crispy choice, I went for crispy but it did not come crispy. it was soft but not manmanunagi-melt-in-your-mouth shiok. but you get what you pay for and this is significantly cheaper, so definitely worth it.

Soup: there was a citrus taste to the soup, good & refreshing!!

Chawanmushi: very good texture and taste but for the price ($3/$4) the ingredients were lacking, basically only 3 shimeji + 1 Japanese fishcake, no meat, no prawn

Salmon Sashimi (not in picture): quite thick & fresh!!
