This is apparently pre-independence and the birthplace of paper-wrapped chicken. I was sad I didn't make it to its original kampung location. When they reopened here I had to make the long trip. What greeted me was a stall closed before 1pm. I tried my luck with the visibly busy stallholders. Initially they told me I gotta order ahead and they're sold out. But after some pleading, the owner cut me 10 pieces from someone's order, for which they would've to make up later. Each parcel was quite exquisite and the juice was delicious with a sweetness. The meat itself was decent. I guess I just can't reconcile how these small pieces cost $2.40 each.
Farm’s signature paper-wrapped chicken.
