Interesting idea but mixed results. The squid was quite dry, while the rice was delicious. So order just the rice lol.

One of the best around. Not just an unrealistic layer of fat but the skin was a thick biscuit. I bow in respect.

We always eat this in Thailand so gave this a go, but it's nowhere as shiok lah. The treatment was quite different. Here they fry the flesh in pieces. It's more convenient, but that's about it.

Not the most flattering photo but a headliner Thai dish. The eight large ribs came dry, then the server proceeded to light it on fire, before pouring in (a lot of) soup. Apart from the garnish you see, the flavour profile of this dish is that of pork soup with the sharpness of tom yum soup. The ribs were fine, but didn't blow me away.

One of the specialities of Isaan cuisine here at unyang Kor dai .

Well marinated grilled chicken and very juicy.

Paired with a delectable homemade black sweet sauce .

You can’t leave this place without having a taste of their Tom yam soup .

I belong to the camp that likes my soup clean and clear .

Very robust flavours although it looks deceptively light .

One of the best Tom yam soups I have had - even better than the ones I had in Thailand .

Seriously .
