In my opinion, the best dish in Un Yang Kor Dai is their Isaan Grilled Pork Neck Fried Rice. The rice itself is filled with different levels of flavours, all exploding and clamouring to be recognised with each mouthful.
For this dish alone, I can believe they deserve their Michelin award.
Who would have thought a Thai restaurant could serve such a perfectly cooked medium-rare beef? Just look at that beautiful pinkish-red center, it's a juicy masterpiece. The steak is expertly seasoned with salt and pepper, delivering succulence and satisfaction with each bite. The tenderness and chewiness are simply wow-worthy.
This sizable fish is packed with meat and offers a smooth texture. We opted for mild spiciness, and while it gradually develops a slight bitterness as you savour it slowly, the zesty flavours of the tangy Thai lime sauce make it a truly appetising dish.
This coconutty and creamy mild-spicy curry is filled with essential ingredients. The tender chicken is beautifully infused with the vibrant green curry flavours, creating a symphony of aromatic deliciousness.
The classic smoky and chewy pork neck hits the spot with its delightful flavour. It's a perfect snack option that satisfies the taste buds.
Unfortunately, this dish fell a bit short of expectations. It features a fried boiled egg covered in sweet tamarind sauce, but it lacks that exciting element that would make it truly interesting.
