With a choice of turkey or smoked salmon. I went with the latter. Typically served with toast but went with a carb less option today.

Love places that serves coffee with a side of biscuit. 😬

Another OG from Upstairs Cafe is their Spaghetti Meatballs pasta! If you're in love like me, you couldn't resist and would order an extra heaping of pasta. This pasta would remind you of the uncomplicated good ol' days with the lovely sauce and flavourful meatballs. A definite must try for red sauce lovers!

Always coming back for more, this mac and cheese is the OG! Baked or more like torched to perfection, the combination of textures would melt in your mouth - you'll be craving for the creaminess of the sauce and the crumbliness of the bread crumbs. Served as a side dish in this pleasing aesthetic cafe, you'll have room for all the other dishes on the menu!

Used to frequent this cafe during uni times but stopped as it was always crowded during lunch hours. But decided to pop by on a Friday 1pm, and it wasn’t that packed. The staff was extremely friendly and gave a few suggestions on what to have.
In frame: Vegetarian Arrabbiata. The arrabbiata is a spicy tomato base pasta served with mushrooms and broccoli. One of my favourites here. Can’t remember the prices for my meal but it was quite reasonable. If you’re into something light, there’s an array of baked goods at the counter, you’ll be spoilt for choices.
Limited parking in front of the cafe, so either park across at SJMC or at nearby housing area.

I've been a loyal patron at upstairs cafe for a good 4 years now and i can always depend on upstair's for a good brunch spot. This cafe is indeed halal and serves an array of main courses from sandwiches to lamb stew. RM15.90 for this runny yolk of a hot mess (in a good way). Also, their hot latte is a must order for me as well!
