Italian gelato has caused me to have unrealistic expectations of gelato, but ๐™‘๐™š๐™ฃ๐™˜๐™๐™žโ€™๐™จ ๐™™๐™ค๐™ช๐™—๐™ก๐™š ๐™จ๐™˜๐™ค๐™ค๐™ฅ (~$10) gelato is pretty much as good as it gets ๐Ÿฆ
๐™ƒ๐™–๐™ฏ๐™š๐™ก๐™ฃ๐™ช๐™ฉ ๐™›๐™ก๐™–๐™ซ๐™ค๐™ช๐™ง was rich and nutty, and I loved how the ๐™Ž๐™ฉ๐™ง๐™–๐™ฌ๐™—๐™š๐™ง๐™ง๐™ฎ ๐™Ž๐™ฉ๐™ง๐™–๐™˜๐™ž๐™š๐™ก๐™ก๐™– contrasted fruity and chocolatey to a nice balance. The quality of the gelato though โ€” sticky but not overly so, I canโ€™t believe it took me this long to find this from when I first tried it in Hong Kong ๐Ÿ˜›

Another case of the more you order, the more worth it your gelato is. Venchi has three different sizes - mini (single scoop), regular (double scoop) and large (triple scoop). Each additional scoop of gelato costs only $2, so it would make more sense to just get more scoops and share. However, if you donโ€™t want to share, you can even get all three scoops just for yourself because the ice cream is just THAT GOOD. This is perhaps the best gelato texture Iโ€™ve ever had in Singapore. Itโ€™s soft to the point that I was worried my gelato might melt and flop off my cone. Thankfully it didnโ€™t, but it had a luxuriously soft and creamy mouthfeel that was super smooth. I can only describe this as heavenly.

Between both of us, we ordered the Green Pistachio from Bronte, Gianduiotto Venezuela and Piedmont Hazelnut. Despite being a true pistachio nut (pun intended), I wasnโ€™t impressed by the pistachio flavour at Venchi. While the gelato texture was good, it was lacking any nuttiness altogether (if you canโ€™t tell which one the pistachio scoop was, itโ€™s the one on the bottom in the double scoop - a combination of how pale the green was and bad lighting). The Gianduiotto Venezuela, however, was so good! There were bits of chocolate chunks and nuts in the rich chocolate ice cream. If you love chocolate, this surely wonโ€™t disappoint. The Piedmont Hazelnut was fantastic too. It was like Nutella in gelato form, not too sticky and not too sweet.

Although known for their chocolates, Venchiโ€™s gelato are pretty dang fantastic too and I would definitely get another the next time Iโ€™m nearby!

Loved the strawberry, but the choco hazelnut one was MIND-BLOWING. Flavour and consistency was super on point. Never knew gelato was THIS good till I tried Venchi. Now I want to try other gelato places in SG!!! This was totally worth the $10.

Best gelato in Singapore. Stick to the chocolate and pistachio! Creamy yet light and not too sweet this is definitely worth every penny.

it is a delicate milk cream base thatโ€™s rich yet light on the palate at the same time. itโ€™s so darn good, with lil pieces of freeze dried raspberries for tartness and crunchy bitter cocoa nibs for a nice crunch. the cone itself was fresh and crisp, with the hazelnut chocolate spread and more raspberry grains bc why not!! such a indulgence n itโ€™s rly soooooo amazing ๐Ÿคค

Wanted to be a kiasu Singaporean and just have a few samples to taste, but damn I was sold after the first teaspoon. Trust me it was a battle within myself to choose between all those fab flavours, so when I finally did settle on 3 I was adamant no one ate any bit of it lolol. I got the Mascarpone & Fig (light and creamy, with specks of jammy figs, and a distinct underlying hint of the cheese), Pistachio (roasty, earthy, and rich), and Hazelnut (possibly one of the best renditions I've tried) โ€” all were so friggin' delish. If you're a fan of sorbets, their Strawberry one's pretty tasty as well, though perhaps a tad sweet for some.
