milk with chocolate bits and strawberry sorbet flavours are pictured here! both were really good but melted really fast ๐ข
So worth it with the beyond deal. Bought the strawberry and tiramisu flavours - creamy and flavours not too heavy too. Good change of palate after a heavy meal!
Venchi (@venchi.singapore) is deemed "one of the best gelato one can have in Italy". With its flagship store at Marina Bay Sands (@marinabaysands), we can get to indulge in the authentic gelato without traveling to Italy. ๐ค
Try the new Panna Cotta flavour along with Tiramisu to experience these familiar desserts in gelato form. Famous for its prized ingredients - pistachio and chocolate, Venchi's Brutto ma Buono (milk chocolate with hazelnut) and Pistachio di Bronte are the must-trys! ๐
Thanks to Burpple Beyond (@burpple), ๐ I get to enjoy this renowned Italian gelato on a 1-for-1 promotion. Two regular cups/cones (total of 4 flavours) for just $10! ๐คญ
If you're looking for classic Italian chocolate, pralines and gelato made fresh daily, head over to this kiosk located in the basement of Marina Bay Sands for rich and creamy scoops of ice cream. Burppler goodformood x enjoyed the Piedmont Hazelnut, which "was rich and nutty, and I loved how the Strawberry Straciella contrasted fruity and chocolatey to a nice balance." Chocolate lovers, indulge in a scoop of Gianduiotto Venezuela of chocolate chunks and crunchy nuts in a rich, chocolate gelato.

Italian gelato has caused me to have unrealistic expectations of gelato, but ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐โ๐จ ๐๐ค๐ช๐๐ก๐ ๐จ๐๐ค๐ค๐ฅ (~$10) gelato is pretty much as good as it gets ๐ฆ

๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ก๐ฃ๐ช๐ฉ ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐ค๐ช๐ง was rich and nutty, and I loved how the ๐๐ฉ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ง๐ง๐ฎ ๐๐ฉ๐ง๐๐๐๐๐ก๐ก๐ contrasted fruity and chocolatey to a nice balance. The quality of the gelato though โ sticky but not overly so, I canโt believe it took me this long to find this from when I first tried it in Hong Kong ๐

Another case of the more you order, the more worth it your gelato is. Venchi has three different sizes - mini (single scoop), regular (double scoop) and large (triple scoop). Each additional scoop of gelato costs only $2, so it would make more sense to just get more scoops and share. However, if you donโt want to share, you can even get all three scoops just for yourself because the ice cream is just THAT GOOD. This is perhaps the best gelato texture Iโve ever had in Singapore. Itโs soft to the point that I was worried my gelato might melt and flop off my cone. Thankfully it didnโt, but it had a luxuriously soft and creamy mouthfeel that was super smooth. I can only describe this as heavenly.
Between both of us, we ordered the Green Pistachio from Bronte, Gianduiotto Venezuela and Piedmont Hazelnut. Despite being a true pistachio nut (pun intended), I wasnโt impressed by the pistachio flavour at Venchi. While the gelato texture was good, it was lacking any nuttiness altogether (if you canโt tell which one the pistachio scoop was, itโs the one on the bottom in the double scoop - a combination of how pale the green was and bad lighting). The Gianduiotto Venezuela, however, was so good! There were bits of chocolate chunks and nuts in the rich chocolate ice cream. If you love chocolate, this surely wonโt disappoint. The Piedmont Hazelnut was fantastic too. It was like Nutella in gelato form, not too sticky and not too sweet.
Although known for their chocolates, Venchiโs gelato are pretty dang fantastic too and I would definitely get another the next time Iโm nearby!
