This is one very sinful appetiser - mozzarella fritta)(RM19) basically it means deep fried mozzarella! It's whole lot of goodness in this small pocket. If you're a connoisseur of cheese, you wouldn't want to miss this!
My friends were raving about it and told me it's a must-try. But, the cake was a bit tad dry on that day... the sauce was nice though.
If there’s something you have to try at this busy neighborhood restaurant, it’s the Saffron Risotto with Three Mushrooms (RM34). Risottos are tricky to pull off, but Verona does it just right. The risotto is cooked perfectly - creamy, with the grains retaining a toothsome bite, and there is a good amount of saffron. The mushrooms are a nice addition to the dish as well. It’s not often you find a good risotto in Kuala Lumpur, don't miss this one! If you're sharing dishes, go ahead and get their daily special thin crust pizza to share.
Simple dishes always put the chef to test. This could easily be one of the best Aglio Olio w/ bacon (RM30+) in town.
