My childhood lunch place when I was studying in NAFA arts✨ it used to have long queues and tables only along the corridor👍 a very unique shopping centre experience, now they have a shopfront but lesser business due to inconsistent quality of dimsum🤷‍♀️ but after 2 years, I’m back and wow the standard is back and better!!!! 👍 love their XO steam carrot cake and custard buns💕 it’s time to support them again😂

Its been a while since we visited Victor's kitchen, so we decided to get the classic dim sum--- like har gao, siew mai, liu sha custard bun and char siew chee cheong fun. The xiao long bao, our first time trying, is pretty delicious too. The hot piping gravy from the meat filling was heavenly. My favourite dim sum is the har gao:fresh succulent marinated prawns in a thin crystal layer. I wished there were more char siew bits in the rice rolls. Overall, i am glad to be back again after so many years.


Standard dimsum place to satisfy your dimsum craving. Always like the Siew mai and har gao from here.

Do take note that meal timings might be full so do come early!

The waiter asked if I want the fresh out of the oven egg tart. It was piping hot and have to say that it's good luh.

I knew this place was famous but the Cheong fun was meh.. not the Hongkong taste I was looking for

(ordered a bunch of items and the price would probably average out to be about $8-10/person) // tried a variety of dishes and all were pretty good!! situated within sunshine plaza (so a rather hole in the wall place), this was a fuss-free, no-frills timsum place, with good quality food at a *slightly* higher price point in my opinion
items tried:
xlb: it was bigger than what u would expect from a normal dimsum place and the soup was really tasty as well!!

hargow: skin was not overly thick and the prawn in each dumpling was HUGE

steamed carrot cake with XO sauce: interesting dish, cos it’s very different from the standard carrot cake you would expect from SG. it was steamed and then u get to pour the condiments (soy sauce + chili/XO) over it but the taste was really good as well. it comes with scallops and smoked sausages within the carrot cake layer

salted egg yolk buns: really buttery and it was the right amount of sweetness as well. the buns were also steamed to perfection !!

char siew chee cheong fun: quite standard

overall it was a good meal and i’d definitely be back for the salted egg yolk buns and the xlb!!
