$68 | Came w roasted chicken, pork ribs, steak; salad

Worth it! All 3 types of meat are also very well done. 🤤

$19 | Prawns ain’t the biggest, this is just alright.

Pan seared gnocchi with beef ragout ($24)
One of the best gnocchi dishes I have ever tasted! The gnocchi was crispy ok the outside and soft on the inside, the outer layer remained crispy even after being drenched in the beef ragout. The gnocchi was not overly starchy too. The beef ragout has a deep flavour and a nice hint of wine and was delicious. Only problem with the dish is that the tomato was slightly acidic for my liking, but overall it was delightful.
Korobuta Pork Ribs ($20)
Fall of the bone ribs with a slight smoky flavour to it. The sauce was generously coated and paired really well. Only downside is the portion is really small.
Carbonara ($22)
Carbonara was cooked al dente and was topped off with bonito flakes. The bonito flakes brought an umami flavour to the pasta and surprisingly paired very well! The chorizo brought a slight spice kick to the dish, overall really yummy!
Chocolate fondant ($10)
3 mini lava cakes all suprisingly had lava! The berries brought a nice fresh tartness to the dish and the crumble sort of sand also brought a nice texture to the dish. The yuzu sorbet was the highlight of the dish, it was sharp but not overpowering and it was so refreshing! My only problem with the lava cake is the chocolate flavour did not shine through enough.
Food was delicious and really lived up to my high expectations of it! Only problem is that the wait was really Long and that the portion size for the meats were small, but the food was amazing
Price: $$$
Come back factor:🤩🤩🤩½

Paired with plenty of small shrimps atop which has a crunchy sweet texture. Although I wished plump juicy prawns were used instead but for the pricing, it is rather value for money.

Chanced upon this small lil gastro pub restaurant and decided to have a drink.
Oh well wrong move, the restaurant is so noisy and is just like going to a market!!! Last time back here, not recommended for anyone who wants a nice ambience or some quiet place for dinner and drink.

A hidden gem with an affordable, rustic set lunch menu with dishes that were executed perfectly.

The salad was a refreshing starter with a zingy wasabi soy drizzle. They do a mean spinach aglio olio, cooked to garlicky, al-dente perfection, topped with slices of eggplant and zucchini that were fresh, juicy with an addictive charred smokiness. Fans of the classic carbonara might take a liking to their fusion take, with bonito flakes crowning the creamy dish.

We were treated to a colourful trio of hand-shaved chips - the sweet potato chips were outstanding (dip them in the homemade guacamole salsa and you'll see why). Teas were at $2 a pop with the set lunch - the iced pomegranate tea was a refreshing treat.

We stared longingly at the halibut dish that was also on the menu, but that's a dish for another culinary sojourn.
