From the Burpple community

this was really good!!! super creamy and flavorful and i loved everything about it, the truffle, the lasagne, the cheese, the mushrooms and the sous vide egg 🤤

the duck meat fell right off the bone and was very tasty! the skin was nice and crisp too! enjoyed the food here hehe

😋 8/10
First time having this, the duck was well seasoned and really tender! However, the “Barley Risotto” was underwhelming and I’m not a fan of the endives. The duck gets a bit cloying at the end (and I didn’t want to cleanse with more endives) but still good, definitely carried the dish 🙂

Perhaps one of the most tender chicken that I've eaten! The chicken skin was glazed perfectly with a sweet and slightly tangy flavour. Served with pea puree, couscous and some baby carrots. The food at vineyard does not disappoint and the ambience is great for both a date night or a chill brunch. However the serving size of the mains tends to be quite small, so it's a good idea to order some starters or desserts.

We were not expecting bowl of thick-cut potato and sweet potato fries when we ordered Vineyard's truffle fries. The serving size was beyond our expectations too and for $14++, we think it is pretty decent by Vineyard's standards. This is something to consider as the main dishes here are relatively small and you may not feel full after your meal.

As for the fries themselves, they are pretty legit and the taste of potato and sweet potato are both pretty strong. The cheese was a pretty interesting addition as well, because cheese fries are usually coated with nacho cheese sauce, rather than actual strands of cheese themselves. The only minus point is that the truffle oil used wasn't a lot and the fries in some parts of the dish tasted like there was no truffle.

We went back to Vineyard for another meal and this time, we decided to try out the onglet steak! For $28++, you get a pretty decent piece of steak for it's price, and it is served atop mashed potatoes and sauteed mushrooms. Although the doneness was right (we ordered medium-rare), we think the steak wasn't the best as there wasn't much flavour to it. As with most of Vineyard's dishes, the serving was rather small and you might need a side dish to fill your tummy.

Nonetheless, we used one of our one-for-one main dish vouchers and this made our meal pretty worth it! Do remember to use your Burpple vouchers if you have subscribed to Burpple Beyond as well!

That being said, we would like to reiterate that Vineyard has a really nice ambience and it is a pretty quiet place to enjoy a decent meal with your loved ones on a weekday! The restaurant is pretty crowded on weekends, however, and you should make a reservation beforehand.
