Wah the $10 big Prawn noodle here quite worth it... don't need to kena chop and forced to buy the $20 at The Esplanade. Closes at 10pm. More than enough prawns! Soup is consistent with the other 2 outlets. "Asian style Prawn bisque" indeed! #burpple

The size of this big prawn (大虾) is slightly underwhelming haha, and considering the price I have to pay for the upgrade from the standard bowls..... 🤔 It's still the sweetest, most delightful and tasty soup I've had 💕maybe, just no big prawn upgrade next time.

Portion alittle small for $8 but quality is up there. I guess every dollar counts 👍🏻4/5

Some hits and misses here in the Ngoh Hiang Platter, but what's special about it are the 4 items specially made using fresh wild caught sea prawns (same as those in their prawn noodles) just for Wah Kee - the Wah Kee Prawn Cracker, Wah Kee Bean Curd Skin Roll with Prawns, Fried Wanton and Chinese Sausage. The stars of the platter for me were the crunchy Prawn Cracker and Bean Curd Skin Roll with Prawns, both executed well without being too greasy yet still retaining a nice crunch! Also, remember to eat them while they're hot. The platter is currently exclusive to this new outlet at Beach Road.

While the noodle was too soft for my liking, the rest definitely saved the day. Packed with lots of lard and shallots, it surely gives an additional crunch and flavour to the sweet shrimp and spicy kick. And anyway for prawn noodle, I rather stick to my usual yellow noodle for more bites.

Located just next to the Golden Mile Food Center, the outlet occupies half of the coffeeshop and it looks like there's gonna be a long queue forming soon. Only in this latest outlet can you get Wu Xiang Platter which further boasts their succulent sweet prawns in the form of fried prawn wanton, bean curd skin roll, prawn cracker and chinese sausage. The Lala Soup is also another highlight of the meal with peppery kick while the Jumbo Prawns Soup came with spicier soup thanks to the generous amount of chilli padi.
