Interesting to find this ramen stall in this small food court located at Dover. They serve various type of ramen with volcano ramen being their signature item.

Volcano Seafood Ramen ($9.90) is the priciest bowl from Wakon Ramen, with two scallops, baby squids, half an egg, and a prawn. Choose from less/regular/extra chilli paste for your spicy tonkotsu. I chose extra and choked, but its flavour grows on you. Bits of minced pork swim in the broth you slurp up. Sweet prawn meat, and half a lavalicious ajitama egg are most enjoyable with the soft ramen. Add on sides at a top up, but I'll recommend their charsiew at $1 a piece!

Came after seeing Ms. Tamchiak post. Coffee shop ramen with the basic Hakata ramen at $6.50 with 1/2 an egg & 2 slices of Char Siew. Where to find this price point?! ๐Ÿ˜Š Quite nice ramen for the price. Maybe the pork can be more tender though

Volcano Seafood Ramen - you get to choose your spice level: less, regular or extra spicy depending on your abilities.ย

Trying out this new, rather hipster-looking stall named Wakon Ramen at Coffee Express 2000 which serves up Japanese Ramen of different variants from different prefectures in Japan.

The Volcano Ramen was decent โ€” nothing much to shout about though it does carry a light spicy kick amidst a broth that came with a considerable thickness. Noodles were pretty ok, and the cha shu was thinly-sliced yet tender with the egg that has a molten yolk. To be fare, it would work rather well being a spot to solve those ramen cravings for those living around the area however.

At $6.50, this is a decent bowl with char shu, half an onsen egg, seaweed, and some spinach? Pretty decent as the broth was good for its price. Economic stall to get your ramen fix! Oh, also to get your spinach fix too.๐Ÿ˜‘
