Chef Wong Hsieh Fook, formerly of Kam's Roast, together with Owner Victor Ng opened this stall in April 2020... 1 week before the introduction of pandemic circuit-breaker measures. Fortunately, they pulled through.
.
Their ducks are prepared and roasted on-site in gas-powered ovens. Scalded with boiling water then marinated with their house rub, which includes 5-spice powder and honey, the ducks are left to infuse overnight.
.
The duck is lean with a light chew, dry but not overly so, the crisp skin and tender duck meat carrying oily salty savoury earthy sweet meaty flavour.
.
Served over a bed of fluffy white rice with grainy sweet flavour, accompanied by a warm soup with herbal sweet savoury notes.

The adjacent (relative to Jiak Song Mee Hoon Kueh, which I'd just ordered) Wang Fu Roasted Delight, which I read about in an 8 Days article, also had a queue. As I understand, their chef had previously worked in Kam's Roast Pacific Plaza - so I had high hopes for this plate of Duck Noodles ($4.00 nett).
The meat was easy to eat (I am a lazy MF who hates deboning things), & also tender & juicy. The noodles were QQ & didn't have an alkaline smell/taste to them. Drenched in a delicious sauce, this dish overall had thumbs up from me & my dining partner.
The Char Siew with Roasted Pork Rice ($4.30 nett), however, left much to be desired. While I'm honestly not a porky connoisseur as I rarely eat charsiew or siobak, this dish felt very ordinary & I didn't enjoy it. The rice was plain & the meat was tough & dry. I'd recommend skipping this & going for the duck which was much more scrumptious & fulfilling.
(Disclaimer: Photo is of semi-eaten dish, as I was queueing at Jiak Song when this was served, so I asked my dining partner to chow down first 😂 For the record, he wasn't impressed with this either.)

The menu is kept simple with just a few items from roasted chicken, pork, duck, and char siew, and double-boiled soups. I got the Char Siew & Roasted Pork Rice ($4) which comes with a sizeable portion of char siew and roast pork, with the latter very much preferred. The roast pork had a good meat to fat ratio with a crispy skin to give it a differing texture bite. According to one of my colleagues, the chef uses a better grade of rice which is termed as aged rice and it is pricier than those freshly harvested ones. As a result, the rice grains had a firmer texture to it. Another mention goes to the tangy chilli sauce, which not only brings a refreshing touch, but it also packs a spicy punch as well. Overall, Wang Fu Roasted Delight is definitely miles better than those average stalls out there and that it warrants a return for their roast duck and chicken.
