Pocha is short for Korean street food, nostalgic of 70s and 80s times. Loved the army stew here, sweet/spicy with creamy noodles. Simply not enough ramen. We also had the half and half Korean pancakes - seafood being my favourite side as the kimchi one is spicy

Pretty authentic feels here with the cosy eatery and served with piping hot food, banchan and barley roasted tea. Can just imagine snuggling here during winter

($37 each, 2 pax but deffo can feed 3)

I've always had a thing for cooked kimchi with its deep, broad sourness... and the fried sausage slices are so nibbleable.

With their lunch set mostly less than $15 (with an addition 10% off as well), no wonder there was a full house!
Ordered the Spicy Beef Stew ($13) and it was really quite spicy 🔥 but love the generous amount of sliced beef! (And the many many banchan!!!)

Slurrrrrps! Good ol' ginseng chicken soup to warm me up in this crazy weather. 🌦

It was actually pretty good! Super awesome to get half a chicken for

First time at Wang dae bak Pocha. Atmosphere was great and service was excellent. The Korean waiter in glasses was so friendly. He recommended the makgeolli mixed with pineapple and it was fantastic! Sweet and tangy. We ordered the pork trotters (jokbal) half with sauce and half without. The spicy sauce really packed a punch. Highly addictive. My mouth was on fire and steam was wafting from my hair but I couldn't stop eating. The kimchi soup was sour and spicy. Right up my alley. It was the best I have ever tried. But slurping the soup and eating the jokbal together almost made my head explode. Music was a bit loud so gotta raise our voices to be heard. Could get a bit noisy.

we were walking along the streets for lunch and saw the free flow advert. I'm not a free flow eater but my friends had 4 plates each.

prolly worth a try to test the space of ur stomach. 😂😂😂 don't say I bojio.
