The Ngoh Hiang was savoury, fresh off the oil, and clearly home made. Fried wanton all so addictive, so light yet packs a fragrant punch with the well marinated meat. The boiled wanton was there to balance the strong flavours while keeping you hooked on for more. Lastly, the fried pork was on the lean side but the amount of melting fats did not disappoint.

Honestly, what’s the hold up to try it?

Everything in this bowl of signature Wanton Mee was quite mediocre in my opinion. Perhaps the S$5.00 bowl must be complete with their red chilli sauce, but for those who did not fancy the spice or heat in their noodles, this item might just be meant as a “eat to live” food more than a “live to eat”.

I enjoyed this, not too oily nor tough or fatty. Quick yummy!

$5 and up wanton mee, honestly it's pretty decent, given that it's air conditioned as well. The noodles is thicker than the usual wanton mee and the wanton is chewy, skin was not too thick. Love the char siew, it was quite tender and not too sweet. Noodles is QQ

Best dumplings I had for a while.

Consistently good and big portion.

I like the texture of their noodles which are eggy and springy but find this bowl of noodles lacks seasoning. Add some condiments like their fried garlic, pork lard and extra spicy chill and the flavours start surfacing again. The wontons are more peppery than usual but still tasty.

Additional toppings such as noodles, char siew, wanton or vegetables are available at $1 per serving.

Thanks to Burpple Beyond, we get to enjoy 2 Main Dish for the price of 1 ✌ (U.P $4.80)
