I enjoyed this, not too oily nor tough or fatty. Quick yummy!
$5 and up wanton mee, honestly it's pretty decent, given that it's air conditioned as well. The noodles is thicker than the usual wanton mee and the wanton is chewy, skin was not too thick. Love the char siew, it was quite tender and not too sweet. Noodles is QQ
Best dumplings I had for a while.
Consistently good and big portion.
I like the texture of their noodles which are eggy and springy but find this bowl of noodles lacks seasoning. Add some condiments like their fried garlic, pork lard and extra spicy chill and the flavours start surfacing again. The wontons are more peppery than usual but still tasty.
Additional toppings such as noodles, char siew, wanton or vegetables are available at $1 per serving.
Thanks to Burpple Beyond, we get to enjoy 2 Main Dish for the price of 1 ✌ (U.P $4.80)
So cheap with BB 1-for-1 deals!!! This was a really great bowl of wanton noodles as well, I loved the thick QQ noodles.
Just go easy on the chilli though, it packs a lot of heat!

It’s hard to find a wanton noodles supper place near the CBD area these days. Most people go to Jalan Besar for the 剪刀剪or Swee Choon Dim Sum. Add this place to your supper list! This is like Eng’s Wantan Mee- they have a super spicy squeeze bottle of house chilli that you should only sparingly apply to your noodles. Otherwise, the noodles are springy and lard-ed for a richer flavour. The 猪油渣is not self-service tho. My friends loved the soup as it has a dashi-esque flavour. Is there radish in there? PSA: This place currently on Burpple Beyond also so 1-for-1 wanton mee!
