Well-executed bowl of mala minced pork noodles. Noodle texture was pretty decent, and the ramen egg was adequately flavourful. Wantons were adequately plump and juicy, Overall Mala taste was nothing too spicy or numbing, so feel free to add the “shiok chilli” to your bowl to jazz up the flavours. It seems like Wanton Seng is famous for their “shiok chilli”, which comes in two versions — one that is not too spicy and one that is a killer! The non-spicy version is on the sweeter side, while their killer version is truly a killer, so put it in moderation!

Twosome noods — a chance for you to get the best of roasted delights in a bowl of wanton noodles. Char Siu, Roasted Pork, and Wantons. What more can you ask for? Drizzle a bit of their shiok chilli, or douse your bowl in it if you want, this “modern take” on your classic bowl of wanton noodles is sure to satisfy that noodle craving (undeniably with a higher price point). Nonetheless, with good vibes, service, and drinks, this is a price I would not mind paying.

Deboned fried wings that were decadently doused in salted egg sauce. Personally wasn’t wow-ed by the flavour, especially with the powdery texture amidst the sauciness. Nonetheless, it was still decent. I did think complementing these wings with their shiok chilli made the flavours more unique and palatable.

This drink comprised of gin, citrus honey, ginger, and kombucha. Similar to the Chrysanthemum highball, I wished this had been more stronger in term of its alcohol kick. Overall, a pretty diluted cocktail :(.

Interesting concept behind this drink — lychee infused vodka, chrysanthemum tea, honey, goji berries. I liked the hints of lychee and chrysanthemum sweetness here and there but overall it was a pretty diluted drink whereby I could not really taste the alcohol. Not very worth it for 16 bucks :(

Super good food.
The noodles taste great, but are of the soft texture (good, but we like al dente). The beef noodles grilled short ribs which are superbly tasty and soft and tender. The twosome noodles contain charsiew and roasted pork belly - both are good but we think the former is better. The wantons in the noodles are also great, quite a big piece and the fillings are well seasoned.

The combination of all the flavours is so good that we finished the whole bowl before we know it.

The fish wanton is more like the yongtaufoo kind and we thought it might be frozen rather than freshly made. Probably can pass on this.

Will come back for other noodles dishes.
