Washoku Goen (VivoCity)

Looking for Udon or ramen in VivoCity that cost less than $10 with a decent quality? This place is for you! 👌 After joining Pokémon safari event at Sentosa, we settle for this hidden gem inside VivoCity Food Court. ☺️
We tried their Udon and so surprised to find the flavour match up to those famous ones. With this price, portion is generous with 2 thick slices of pork bellies (Those who enjoy pork belly will cherish this bowl). We normally are not crazy about pork belly but still couldn’t resist it!. Glad to find a cheap #hiddengem Japanese food in this area! 👍

My bf's favourite jap place because it's cheap and the portions are enormous🍛 Also, this is one instance where it's a good thing that the amount of rice decreased because they really are too generous

Sumibi chicken curry rice $7.90 and Ulimited Original Curry Rice $19.90 （pork、chicken、beef、potato and hard boil egg😍

Decided to go for the tonkotsu special ramen ($10.90) and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the thick and fragrant broth. Also came with a whole ramen egg and decent cha shu slices. Good for when you're in Food Republic and craving for a satisfying and affordable bowl of ramen!

For generous slab of charcoal barbecued chicken topped smoky curry with rice!Super big portion (but finish-able for a hungry soul) yet Super value for money! 😻

You can consider the Ultimate Original Curry Rice ($19.90) - whopping portion of fish katsu, sumibi beef, Tonkatsu, chicken katsu, potato croquetto and a half-boiled egg.
On top of all these, you get a HUGE bowl of rice and a bowl of curry sauce served separately. Portion size should be able to serve at least 3 pax 😂
The curry had an overly powdered aftertaste and my favourite was the sumibi beef. Oh my, the Sumibi beef was juicy and mouthwashing with a charred aftertaste!
