Located at another quieter corner of the hawker centre you would find this porridge stall that start selling early in the morning, which you would see mostly the regular customers coming here.

For your first time here, I definitely recommend you to go with their signature porridge. Which consists of century egg, cuttlefish, lean meat, meatballs, liver and intestine. They also added you tiao pieces and pork lards on the top as well.

A bowl of hot porridge full with ingredients, do add egg and mix it with everything.

This was flavourful but light. My lunch buddy remarked that there was a nice natural sweetness. The pork slices were tender, and we enjoyed this bowl of porridge :) My only gripe would be that the youtiao is not crisp, as I prefer having crunchy youtiao with porridge.

Understand from boss is that the customers prefer non crispy type where they find the crispy type oily

5) Location -3.5/5 not that easy to find but business is still brisk according to boss who had operated for 1.5 years.

Taking centerstage in the bowl is the flattened salted egg yolk. I am not too big a fan of cooked yolk be it chicken egg or duck egg as I dislike that grainy and crumbly texture. However, I did not expect myself liking this particular one.

Perhaps the yolk has become more compacted due to the hammering thus did not have that mouthfeel I disliked. Surprisingly, the salted egg yolk was not as salty as I had thought to be.
