West Coz Cafe (West Coast Plaza)

I could see the oil pooling at the bottom and the leaves were shiny with it. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the chicken within. Very tender and well marinated. Took a bit of skill to unravel it thou. It went well with the curry too.

Good value at only $20. Huge pc of fish with quite a lot of vege, tau pok and fried bean curd skin. Wonderfully spicy curry gravy that was perfect for drenching rice in. The fish was the low point of this dish. Meat was soft but lots of small bones. I really hated that. Thot the taste was very familiar. Only upon paying did I know that they also operate Segar Restaurant at Chinatown Point. No wonder I was pretty sure I ate it before.

Fish head curry is a dish that brings families and friends together for a great feast. If you are somewhere at West Coast Plaza formerly known as Ginza Plaza, come to West Coz Cafe. Their Curry Fish Head is a must have otherwise the meal will not be complete.
If you like your curry less coconut, this is the place for you. If you love your curry to be spicy, this is the cafe you must try. Cover your rice with the curry and Dark sauce, your will definitely go for second serving for your rice.

Pricing is super reasonable. Food quality is good but service is ok lah... ... it's always crowded.

Overall, it's worth the wait.

Went against my preference for red meat by ordering the Pandan Leaf Chicken and was rewarded by a tender and tasty dish.

There's abundance of greens like long beans, lady fingers and eggplants.
Besides that, it may look spicy in the photo but the curry gravy turns out not spicy at all even people like me who can't take spicyness could take this👍 #burpple #westcozcafe
