Escape the hustle and bustle of city life here at @wheelersestate, a combination of restaurant, bar and alfresco café. Set amongst the beautiful greenery at The Oval in Seletar Aerospace Park, you can enjoy affordable Weekday Set Lunch that will treat your senses to the flavours and aromas of modern European cuisine.

Having slightly higher expectations for this “atas” restaurant, I felt that their oven-baked seabass didn’t have that moist and flaky flesh which I desire. Flavour-wise, it didn’t fare well too and was kinda underwhelming for me. Fortunately, their desserts and homemade pumpkin soup did not disappoint.

First time seeing a cold brew served in a cocktail glass.
The coffee taste was too faint and too many ice cubes were added, which diluted the coffee even further. Am not liking this much.

Weekend brunch with crab benedict that came with a generous amount of crab salad stuffed in a flaky croissant; and topped with two poached eggs. Crushed crispy garlic bread crumbs added a touch of savouriness as the crab salad became too rich for me after a while. Overall a worthwhile brunch item! 👍

Hits and misses for the food. Crab Benedict came with a generous amount of crab but I felt the croissant could be more buttery. The side of hashbrow was not warm, whereas our fish fingers had ‘smoke’ coming out and could tell that it was freshly fried. Ham and cheese macaroni felt more creamy than cheesy, so I guess it depends on one’s personal preference.

Having said all that, service was pretty prompt and the food was served very quickly. But I feel like the food doesn’t do sufficient justice to the pretty vibes of the place. I would still return for a visit to enjoy the vibes of the estate if I were nearby, but probably skip the food but give the pastries a shot the next time instead.

Come with the whole family to Seletar Aerospace Park for brunch in a colonial garden setting — pets will love the wide open spaces! Meat lovers, you'll adore their 120-day grain fed Australian 300g Ribeye ($38) that boasts a lovely woody aroma, and comes with asparagus, tomato confit and mashed potatoes. A great alternative is the hearty Crab Benedict ($24) that sees a generous amount of crab meat piled on buttery croissant. Otherwise, opt for the light yet crisp Fish & Chips ($23) that both kids and parents would enjoy!

Good place to chill out on a Saturday afternoon ... but a little disappointed with the baked cheesecake which was more eggy than cheesy.
